CEO – Affordable Housing – Stellenbosch  

Must preferably be available immediately! 

Salary: Market Related per month, depending on experience

Our client, a Commercial & Residential Property Developments company, seeks a CEO to join their dynamic team, who can start Immediately or as soon as possible at their offices in Stellenbosch.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the current Residential Development Division within The Group. This includes developments undertaken for resale as well as those to be held in the rental portfolio.

Requirements:

Grade 12

MBA Degree or Relevant Qualification

Tertiary Qualifications advantageous in HR or Labour Relations/Financial

5-10 years’ experience as CEO

MS Office Literate

Financial Software Literate + TAX Software Literate

Valid License and Own Transport

Duties include, but are not limited to:

The incumbent will be required to report to the Board, through the medium of monthly Exco’s and shall cover, amongst others, the following aspects of the business:

a)            Financial Performance;

b)            Funding;

c)            Marketing and Sales;

d)            Construction Performance

e)            Opportunities;

f)             Tax Planning

g)            HR and Staffing;

h)            Legal

Day to day functions will include, together with the current staff complement:

Source new opportunities, conducting and assessing feasibility studies and due diligence;

Manage development projects through the development lifecycle, from planning, establishing the professional team, planning, obtaining legislative approvals, selection and appointment of service providers, to monitoring of progress, controlling costs and ensuring adherence to contracted timelines;

Together with the financial manager, build relationships with relevant financial institutions, arrange necessary funding for the development projects, prepare and present accurate cashflow forecasts, updated on a weekly basis;

Regularly review marketing strategy to ensure volume and pace of sales within all projects are optimized
