We are looking for a Primary Healthcare Registered Nurse for our Delarey branch to consult with Affinity Enterprise members to establish diagnose and treat clients/members accordingly and provide best clinical practice and quality healthcare to members.
Tasks
Determine appropriate treatment once diagnosed:
• Action cases sent to Medical Consultant within the SLA
• Evaluate patients e.g. record consultation, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Encourage appropriately OTC utilization
• Deliver appropriate information to healthcare users
• Explain potential side effects of medication
• Provide patients with information and advice on prescribed over the counter medication.
Perform administrative duties:
• Improve areas identified by the QA team
• Continue with CPD
• Keep accurate records of activities and actions
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
• Nursing Diploma/Degree
• Primary Health Care
• Registered with SANC / HPCSA
• Dispensing license
• Drivers License
Essential Experience:
• Experience in clinical evaluation of patients signs and symptoms
• Experience in providing prescriptions
• Primary Health care experience
Knowledge and Skills:
• Extensive MS Office knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good telephonic etiquette
• Good listening skills
• Strong administration skills
• Knowledge in Primary Healthcare
• Strong organisation skills
• Good time management skills
