Candidate Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a premium customer experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
• Manage retail and wholesale procurement, supplier relationships, and stock flow.
• Oversee financial performance: profitability, planning, budgeting, and management accounts.
• Handle full financial function, including monthly reporting and cost analysis.
• Source and negotiate international shipping quotes.
• Maintain procurement systems, stock control, and merchandising standards.
• Lead and motivate the Cape Town team, upholding Patriot’s culture and values.
• Execute retail strategies that drive sales, service, and operational excellence.
• Conduct operational and financial analysis for continuous improvement.
• Represent Patriot at trade shows and brand events as required.
• Implementing strategies to increase sales goals and customer service, and operating objectives
• Successful track record in achieving turnover targets.
• Performing other tasks as assigned from time to time.
• Available to travel from time to time and attend trade show events.

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (speak, read, write).
• Minimum five years’ retail store management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management Accounting (BCom preferred).
• Computer literate (POS experience essential).
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
• Reside in Cape Town (Northern Suburbs preferred).
