Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fitter. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanical systems and machinery and a desire to learn and develop their skills in the field of engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced fitters and technicians in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment
- Follow instructions and guidelines to learn how to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery and equipment
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge

Candidate Requirements

Essential Requirements:

1. A minimum Grade 12.

2. A minimum N5/6 Mechanical Engineering-related qualification is required.

3. Be a South African Citizen.

4. A genuine interest in the gas/manufacturing industry.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

6. Be a team player who values collaboration.

7. Not currently enrolled in any other learnership or apprentice programme, allowing full dedication to this opportunity.
