A leading FMCG manufacturing company in Killarney Gardens is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join their fast-paced operations team. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.
• Coordinate closely with production, procurement, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required to minimize downtime and optimize output.
• Track and manage inventory levels, identifying shortages and communicating proactively to relevant departments.
• Generate and distribute production reports, ensuring accurate documentation and record keeping.
• Assist in managing stock rotation and cold chain practices to maintain product quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to enhanced workflow efficiency.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and food safety requirements at all times.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• A Certificate or Diploma in Production, Supply Chain, or a related field will be an advantage.
• Computer literacy — proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge or training in ERP systems will be beneficial.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and cold chain handling preferred.
• Exposure to FMCG environments will be an advantage.
• Training in HACCP, GMP, or food safety standards will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
