Candidate Requirements

• LLB degree (postgraduate qualifications in Commercial Law highly advantageous)
• 3–5 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation, with proven experience handling complex matters
• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, in good standing
• Strong experience drafting pleadings and conducting hearings in the High Court and appellate courts
• Extensive experience in arbitrations, mediations and settlement negotiations
• In-depth knowledge of South African commercial legislation and dispute resolution processes
• Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional South African language is advantageous
