How you'll role

As a Stock/Cost Accountant, you'll manage daily stock control operations of two sites in Johannesburg. You'll coordinate stock counts, manage BOM maintenance, and oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring financial accuracy and support within the FMCG and manufacturing sector.

What you'll do

• Release daily production on Sage for two sites

• Reconcile daily bulk on excel for both sites

• Track usage for Work In Progress (WIP)

• Handle invoicing and Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) on Sage

• Manage contracts and assist sites with stock-related queries

• Track movement of damaged stock

• Provide guidance and support to stock controller and extended SC team

• Coordinate and oversee monthly stock counts for verification

• Perform pre-snapshot checks and balances for month-end closing

• Compile variance report post-snapshot and send for investigation

• Process correction journals and recount journals

• Prepare stock gain/loss reports and analyze gross profit

• Create new BOMs and process amendments to existing BOMs
