A leading Company in the Logistics industry is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Lead to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in the role of a Client Relationship Lead / Key Accounts Manager or similar in the Logistics / Events Coordinating or similar industry, with a proven record reflecting leading a successful team whilst excelling at lead generation, relationship building and management and closing of deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure correct processes and procedures are in place with regards to day-to-day practices of the company;
Formulation of strategic planning, improving performance, project management and implementation.
Ensure that the best level of service is provided to clients by sales and accounts department, whether new or existing clients.
Lead a successful sales and accounts team, manage performance and address any performance related issues/queries.
To promote and facilitate sound governance practices in terms of structures, systems, processes, policies, procedures, and controls for the sales business unit that ensures delivery on strategic and operational objectives.
Lead generation, build on current and new business to enhance the company’s revenue.
Manage events with new and existing clients, from presentation to final execution of event, ensuring that clients are kept up to date with progress at all times.
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
Ideally a tertiary qualification i.e., Bachelor’s Degree and/or National Diploma in business management and/or project management and/or related field experience would be beneficial.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar position with a proven track record in leading a successful sales team.
Effective problem resolution and troubleshooting/root cause analyses skill set and experience.
Extremely strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
Valid drivers’ license and own vehicle. Willing to use personal vehicle for business purposes.
