We are currently looking to set up a sales team in support of our newly launched SME connectivity division (Akesa Connect).

     

    About the Role

    As our Connectivity Sales Specialist, you’ll be the key driver in growing our new connectivity sales initiatives. This isn’t a highly technical role – you’ll have all the technical and sales support you need – but you’ll be at the frontline of driving lead generation, and helping shape our sales strategy for the division.

    There is a lot of room for training and growth within the company. Someone who eats, sleeps and breathes gadgets, games and tinkering with tech will be at real advantage.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute creative lead generation initiatives for SME connectivity solutions
    • Prospect and qualify new clients via calls, email outreach, digital channels, and in-person events
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customers, booking meetings and nurturing prospects
    • Collaborate closely with our technical team to ensure solutions meet client needs
    • Track your activity and results in our CRM system
    • Communicate effectively – turning complex IT concepts into simple customer value
    • Share insights with the team to help shape future offerings and growth

Required Skills

  • Sales: 2 to 3 years
  • Lead Generation: 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in business development, lead generation or sales in the ICT industry
  • Matric
  • Computer literate and proficient with MS Office suite
  • Professional verbal and written communication in English
  • Resourceful, self-starter, and driven to make things happen
  • Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and take initiative with tasks
  • Driver's license is a significant advantage - own car even more so
  • A genuine passion and interest in technology and computing will be hugely beneficial
