We are seeking a mature and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full accounting function of the business. The ideal candidate will be 30 years or older, have a minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, and be proficient in Sage Accounting. This role involves overseeing all financial transactions, preparing VAT and PAYE submissions, and ensuring the company’s accounts are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Process and reconcile financial transactions accurately and timeously.
Prepare and submit VAT and PAYE returns in compliance with SARS regulations.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare management accounts, reports, and financial statements.
Monitor and manage cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, suppliers, and service providers when required.
Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks and analysis.
