We have an amazing opportunity for a financial manager at a company in the service stations and property portfolio industries based in Durban! The main purpose of this role is:

-        Oversee and manage the finances of a diversified group operating multiple service stations and a property portfolio. The role involves full financial management, oversight of finance and administrative teams, statutory compliance, and implementation of robust internal controls.

We require a candidate with:

·        Post-articles commercial experience in commerce/industry (Advantageous)

·        Experience in service station operations advantageous.

·        Strong IT proficiency with multiple accounting packages (including Sage).

·        Oversee finance and administrative staff across various sites.

·        Set up and maintain accounting protocols, policies, and procedures.

·        Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.

·        VAT returns, PAYE returns, payroll administration, and bi-annual PAYE reconciliations.
