One of the top mining companies in the Northern Cape is seeking an experienced Engineering Shaft Maintenance Planner to join their dynamic team.

Candidate Requirements

Experience Required:

· At least 4 years’ experience as an artisan

· At least 3 years’ experience in shaft engineering/maintenance planning within a mining environment.

Requirements:

· National Senior Certificate / N3 Certificate.

· Relevant Trade Test.

· Proficiency in maintenance planning systems (e.g., SAP, Pragma, or Maximo).

· Strong knowledge of shaft system, winders, and underground mining equipment.

· Strong understanding of MHSA, shaft safety standards and other relevant legislation.

· Excellent understanding of maintenance principles (Preventive, Predictive, Condition - Based).
