A leading retail company is seeking an experienced Fashion Accessories Buyer with strong trend awareness and commercial insight. The ideal candidate combines creative flair with strong analytical and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities:

     • Research and identify upcoming trends, colours, and materials for local and export markets.
     • Develop and manage seasonal ranges with design, sales, and planning teams.
     • Oversee product development with international suppliers, ensuring quality and cost targets are met.
     • Conduct market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends.
     • Source, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships for best pricing and performance.
     • Raise purchase orders and track order progress with logistics and merchandising teams.
     • Monitor sales and stock to identify repeats and manage slow movers.
     • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising to align launches and promotions.
     • Present product performance insights and recommendations in sales meetings.
     • Support internal teams with product knowledge and guidance.

Requirements:

     • Degree or Diploma in Fashion Buying, Retail Management, or related field.
     • 3–5 years’ experience in fashion, accessories, or kidswear buying or product development.
     • FMCG or mass retail experience preferred.
     • Experience working with international suppliers, especially in the Far East.
     • Strong trend forecasting, product development, and analytical ability.
     • Advanced Excel and reporting proficiency.
     • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
     • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
     • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and abroad.
