Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of daily operations in the liquor store, including inventory management, sales, customer service, and staff supervision. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability. Maintain a clean and organised store environment at all times. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Ensure compliance with all local and national laws and regulations relating to the sale of alcohol. Train and mentor staff to deliver excellent customer service and product knowledge. Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and special orders professionally. Monitor and analyse sales trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly. Develop promotional events and marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance customer loyalty
Candidate Requirements
Requirements: Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably within the liquor industry. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and current industry trends. Familiarity with inventory management software. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be at least 21 years of age and hold any required alcohol sales certifications or licences. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred
