Client is seeking a Production Supervisor for their operations in Kempton Park.The client specializes in the steel industry, providing high-quality steel products to a diverse range of industries.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in steel manufacturing, ensuring efficient workflow, inventory control,and adherence to safety standards.

Required Skills

Supervisory Experience: 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate steel production activities, ensuring adherence to production and quality control standards.
Predict steel requirements for upcoming projects, placing orders accordingly and meeting project timelines
Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet customer demands.
Supervise and maintain the Health & Safety system
Weekly management of stock sheets, across the three department.

Experience and Qualification

Grade 12
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of warehouse and production management practices
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively.
