Junior Electrical Software Engineer or Computer Engineer required for a position in Rosebank. BEng (Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering) with a keen interest in Electrical Engineering. 0-1 year of working experience required.

Junior Electrical Software Engineer/Computer Engineer

Rosebank

You will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing software solutions in the field of electrical engineering.

Minimum requirements:

BEng (Electronic Engineering) or Computer Engineering
Experience in C or C++ (NOT C#)
Experience in Linux
Proficient in English (written and spoken)
Ability to clearly communicate with all levels and clients

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software electrical engineering solutions for existing and new products.
Design, troubleshoot, and debug engineering software challenges.
System design and architecture
Linux only (no Windows or MAC)
C++ mostly hardware-level interface
SQL databases (mostly MySQL)
Basic web interfaces (mostly PHP & JavaScript)
Reading electronic and electrical diagrams/schematics
Working with electronic engineers on designs
