How you'll role
The Financial Administrator will play a crucial role within the finance team, ensuring seamless financial planning and investment support. In this full-time, in-office position in Parktown North (Johannesburg), you will be responsible for managing compliance documentation, performing financial analyses, and providing crucial administrative assistance to support our financial planners. This role is essential in maintaining the financial health and planning activities contributing to client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Prepare and manage compliance documentation
- Perform retirement, estate planning, and tax calculations
- Prepare investment proposals and records of advice
- Gather and verify client data
- Prepare client schedules and applications
- Submit applications and maintain accurate filing systems
- Liaise with clients and follow up on submissions
- Assist with investment analysis, strategy monitoring, and market research
- Maintain and update indices, fund returns, and portfolio data
- Manage internal and external account openings
- Process client payments and manage incoming funds
- Load corporate action registers and assist with client requests
Required Skills
- Financial Administration: 2 to 3 years
- Microsoft Office: 2 to 3 years
- Client Service Oriented: 2 to 3 years
- Investment Principles: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
What you'll need
- A degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or Investments
- 2–5 years of experience in financial administration, paraplanning, or investment support
- Solid understanding of investment principles and financial products
- Strong administrative, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High attention to detail, organisation, and client service excellence
