Our client in Tyger Waterfront, Bellville, is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper Assistant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3â€“4 years of bookkeeping experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A relevant finance qualification will be advantageous. The successful applicant must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant Finance qualification (advantageous)
3â4 years of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail
Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure

DUTIES:

Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliations of multiple bank accounts, including trust and business accounts
Business Creditors: Manage and reconcile accounts payable, including payments to agents, sheriffs, advocates, and other service providers
General Account Queries: Investigate and resolve daily queries related to accounting discrepancies or transactions
VAT Submissions
PAYE
Processing Accounting Records

HOURS:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 - 16:30
Friday: 8:00 â 16:00
