A leading engineering and equipment manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Millwright with strong mechanical and electrical experience to join their team in Boksburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, service, installation, and wiring of machinery and equipment, as well as electrical panel assembly and design for PLC-integrated systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate tools.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including malfunctioning systems and components.

• Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or repair needs.

• Install machines, wiring, or programs to meet technical specifications.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing blueprints.

• Perform fault-finding and maintenance within a production environment.

• Travel occasionally as required.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Trade-tested Millwright or Red Seal qualification (advantageous if both).

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.

• Knowledge of 3-phase systems and DC supplies (less than 500 Amp).

• Excellent fault-finding, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail with the ability to work independently or in a team.

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
