Job Purpose:

To Lead the Growing Product Line and Bring Innovative Solutions to The South African Market

Looking for a CCTV and networking product manager to develop and manage the strategy for security products, blending technical knowledge of CCTV systems with networking infrastructure to create integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities include market analysis, product development, sales support, and working with technical and sales teams to ensure product success and client satisfaction.

This role requires a strong understanding of both video surveillance technologies and networking fundamentals like IP, PoE, and VLANs.

Core responsibilities:

Product strategy: Develop and execute the product roadmap, including features, lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategies for CCTV and networking products.

Technical expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge on CCTV systems (IP and analog), video codecs, storage, and networking principles, including IP addressing, subnetting, and firewalls.

Sales and marketing support: Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical consultation, design solutions, and support client needs through pre-sales activities.

Market and competitor analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work with engineering, operations, and technical teams to ensure products are developed and delivered effectively.

Client engagement: Conduct site visits, gather client feedback, and provide technical training to clients and internal teams.
