We are looking for a professional Driver to provide in the transportation needs of the Macassar Youth Care Development Campus in Western Cape, where the main focus is the safe transportation of the Youth in Care.

Responsibilities of the Driver

· To transport the youth to and from various destinations

· Cleaning of the vehicle

· Ensure regular servicing of the vehicle

· Ensure regular inspection of the vehicle

· Ensure that the vehicle is operated within the Laws of the Republic of South Africa

· Adhere to the Girls and Boys Town Policy and Guidelines on safe driving

· Ensure that banking, deliveries and appointments are done timeously

· Ensure the vehicle’s condition complies with lawful roadworthy requirements

To ensure effective route planning

Candidate Requirements

Experience Required

· Preference will be given to applicants who have at least 2 years driving work experience.

Personality, Attribute and Abilities of Applicants

· Have a valid Code 10 drivers licence and a valid PDP

· Grade 10 (Grade 12/Matric will be an added advantage)

· Be mature and responsible

· Must be trustworthy, reliable and have excellent driving records

· Have a strong personality

· Have good judgement and able to exercise caution

· Must be willing to work flexible working hours where shifts start at 06h00

· A personality that suits the interaction with challenging youth
