Join a FMCG team as a Fitter and Turner in the Western Cape!

In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery and components. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, operate various machine tools, and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Your expertise in precision fitting, turning, and working with different metals will be essential to maintain equipment efficiency, ensure production continuity, and comply with food safety standards.

You must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working at heights or in confined spaces. In this role you will have the responsibility to operate lathes and milling machines, excellent supervisory abilities as well as basic electrical knowledge and numeracy skills.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Red Seal Fitter and Turner qualification, plus 5 years of experience as a fitter and turner. Strong analytical thinking, good communication, and the ability to train and lead others will also be valuable.
