A well-established engineering company based in Edenvale, Gauteng, is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects, including HVAC, ventilation, and fan systems. • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on equipment and systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
• Install and maintain electrical systems for HVAC and engineering projects (where applicable).
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure proper system integration.
• Liaise with customers to ensure clear communication regarding service issues and resolutions.
• Maintain clear and accurate job cards, service reports, and maintenance logs.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and the work environment are maintained in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.

Requirements

• Qualified or trade-tested Electrician (Red Seal) – advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar Service Technician or maintenance role.
• Experience within the engineering field (HVAC, ventilation, or fan applications) – advantageous.
• Mechanical experience will be an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license – essential.
• Background in refrigeration – beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
