Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the backbone of modern power infrastructure? Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and delivery of high-voltage transmission systems and substations that power communities and industries across the region.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for the design, optimization, and maintenance of transmission lines, substations, and critical equipment, while driving innovation in system performance and sustainability. From conducting advanced studies and technical analyses to overseeing construction and commissioning, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on energy security and the transition to a cleaner, smarter grid.

Candidate Requirements

· Education: BSc/ BEng/ BTech in Electrical Engineering

· Professionally registered with ECSA (PrEng or PrTech) or eligible for professional registration

· Minimum 8 years’ experience in the procurement of electrical plant and equipment for large infrastructure projects.

· Minimum 8 years’ experience Substation construction and installation.

· Minimum 8 years’ experience HV and EHV Design/ Transmission Design.

· Computer proficient: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/ Microstation, CDEGS/ ETAP/ Digsilent and related Substation Software
