A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong background in industrial engineering, production planning, and process improvement to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and compliance with ISO standards.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet operational and output targets.

• Oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

• Manage resource allocation, production schedules, and equipment maintenance.

• Supervise, mentor, and support production staff to ensure optimal team performance.

• Conduct inspections and testing to identify and address quality issues.

• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization and problem-solving initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain production documentation and reports for management review.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Industrial or Production Engineering, or similar field.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management environment.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and quality control systems.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
