RPO Recruitment's client, an established and reputable building contractor based in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a confident, well-presented professional with a strong background in industrial and commercial building projects, and the ability to work independently while contributing to the company’s long-term growth.

This role offers excellent exposure to large-scale projects, as well as a clear pathway into senior management or directorship for the right individual.

Requirements:

• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a reputable building contractor
• At least 5 years’ experience on industrial and commercial projects
• Strong technical and contractual knowledge (JBCC, NEC, or similar)
• Standalone, confident, and well-spoken professional with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Leadership abilities and the ambition to grow into a senior management/directorship position over time
• Own vehicle (petrol card provided)
• Willingness to travel to sites outside Gauteng as required
• Proficiency in CCS and MS Office
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
