A reputable company based in Pretoria is seeking a skilled Data Management & Systems Support Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data transmissions, supporting server and network operations, performing reconciliations, and ensuring system stability through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements:

·        National Diploma in IT or equivalent (NQF 5/6)

·        Minimum 4 years’ experience in PHP and MySQL (or similar)

·        Experience with Cloud, Linux, and Windows deployments

·        Knowledge of FTP data exchanges, API integrations, XML, and basic networking

·        Technical support experience and strong documentation skills

·        Excellent English and Afrikaans communication; third language beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

·        Monitor and maintain data transmission services and scripts

·        Configure and manage FTP folders, imports/exports, and pricing setups

·        Perform system testing, financial/system reconciliations, and data analysis

·        Ensure HTTPS compliance and manage certificate renewals

·        Troubleshoot server/system issues (Level 1) and provide after-hours support

·        Maintain system documentation and collaborate with stakeholders
