TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,307,905 TO R1,691,130 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: WS 192/25

Requirements:   

• A relevant BTech/first degree
• Eight (8) years appropriate loss control / compliance
• Experience at advisory level and managing a team
• Extensive and specialised knowledge of compliance
• Investigations and Local Government Legislation and Bylaws
• Effective interpersonal as well as oral / written communication skills
• Ability to deal with high level confidential matters
• Computer proficiency in MS Office suite and SAP
• A valid driver’s licence.

Key performance areas:  

• Manage the operations of the Internal Control, Investigations and Protection services functionality within the Water and Sanitation Directorate
• Develop administrative policies and procedures and standing instructions to ensure best practice and compliance with local government strategies
• Plan and administer investigation process for the department
• Conduct and lead professional high-level investigations covering all employees and movable / immovable assets of the department
• Ensure audit queries and report are dealt with timeously and that necessary systems and controls are put in place
• Manage a security coordination service
• Manage and plan departmental governance compliance assessments and providing governance and compliance awareness and training
• Coordinate and manage the department insurance function
• Manage of security and protection service unit.
