A well-known mining company in Gauteng is in search of an experienced Shaft and Construction Timberman.

Candidate Requirements

Experience Required:

· Minimum of 2 years working experience in a shaft environment.

· Must have experience in safety leadership.

· Must have experience in the use of explosives.

· Must have advanced knowledge of shaft operations.

· Must have advanced knowledge of the Mine Health & Safety Act

· Must have knowledge of environmental statutory and site rules, policies, procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

· National Senior Certificate.

· Onsetter Certificate.

· Blasting Certificate applicable to hard rock mining.
