Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

•        SANC Registered

•        Degree or Diploma in Nursing

•        Midwifery qualification and/or postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty advantageous

•        At least 1-year post-graduate experience in a specialised unit

•        Knowledge of infection prevention and control, pharmacology, and scientific nursing principles

•        Competency in nursing record keeping, patient assessment, and developing/modifying nursing care plans

•        Familiarity with nursing legislation and clinical procedures

•        Basic life support certification; ACLS, ATLS, or PALS for specialised wards advantageous

•        Computer literacy (MS Office)

•        Ability to identify risks and contribute to quality care initiatives
