Role Purpose:

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their finance department. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in full bookkeeping and accounting functions up to Trial Balance, along with advanced Excel skills and a proven track record of financial accuracy and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance.

• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

• Maintain general ledgers and prepare monthly management accounts.

• Oversee bank reconciliations and cashbook entries.

• Process journals, accruals, and adjustments.

• Prepare VAT and other statutory submissions.

• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.

• Support auditors and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Implement and maintain internal controls and best accounting practices.
