Our Client is looking for an experienced and reliable Cashier to join their team at their vibrant Fruit & Veg retail store in King Williams Town. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail cashiering, be proficient with POS (Point of Sale) systems, and deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash, card, and digital transactions with attention to detail
• Ensure that all purchases are properly scanned, priced, and recorded
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station
• Greet customers warmly and assist with queries or concerns
• Ensure accurate cash-up and daily reconciliation of sales
• Work collaboratively with the store team to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities at the till
