We have an amazing opportunity for an Actuarial Manager within a leading Systems & Analytics team based in Sandton!

The main purpose of this role is:
To use data analytics skills to enhance retention and distribution strategies, improve business processes, identify product opportunities, assist in overseeing product implementation specifications, and ensure that administrative system values are actuarially sound.

We require a candidate with:

·        A Qualified Fellow Actuary designation

·        MS Excel proficiency

·        SQL database experience

·        Statistical software experience (R and/or Python)

·        Programming understanding (e.g. VBA)

·        3 – 10 years’ industry experience within Invest and/or Life Insurance

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Ability to drive projects independently while collaborating across teams
