A leading global producer in the food and beverage ingredient manufacturing industry is seeking a Raw Material Planner to join their dynamic team based in Paarl. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with strong experience in supply chain and production planning to ensure efficient material availability for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the continuous flow of raw materials to meet production demands in a fast-paced and quality-driven environment.

• Plan and manage raw material requirements to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and place orders in line with production schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply with operational needs.
• Track supplier performance and follow up on delayed or short deliveries.
• Analyse inventory data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of material movements and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Assist in the implementation of planning systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Production Planning.
• Proven experience in material planning or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-paced production setting.
• A proactive and results-driven approach with a commitment to efficiency and accuracy.
