Our Client, a national truck rental company is seeking to employ a Branch Manager to join their well established and ever growing team

A truck rental branch manager oversees daily operations, focusing on customer service, sales, staff management, fleet maintenance, and financial performance to meet business objectives and ensure customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:

Provide superior customer service and a positive experience for all clients. 

• Staff Management:

Schedule staff efficiently, manage operations coverage, train new and existing employees, and foster a positive work environment. 

• Fleet Operations:

Oversee vehicle quality control, ensure sufficient vehicle availability, and manage inventory. 

• Risk Management:

Implement operational procedures, ensure compliance with company policies, and manage potential risks. 

• Financial Management:

Manage the branch budget, ensure targets are met, and maintain financial understanding. 

• Administrative Oversight:

Keep administrative processes up to date and manage supplies and inventory. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Management Experience: Proven leadership and management skills are essential. 
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and financial performance. 
• Customer Focus: A strong commitment to customer service and building customer confidence. 
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills. 
• Analytical Skills: Ability to identify problems and implement strategic solutions. 
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the car hire, rental, or trucking industry
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer systems and relevant software. 
• Grade 12 and Valid Driver s license
