An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Manager to join our client a leader in the Travel industry based in their Cape Town branch.

About the Role

You’ll oversee the full HR function across both businesses, from recruitment, onboarding, and training to performance management, payroll (Sage Payroll Professional), and labour law compliance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and who can balance operational delivery with strategic HR insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company goals.

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and induction for new hires.

• Manage training, skills development, and performance appraisals.

• Administer Sage Payroll Professional, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Foster positive employee relations and support workplace engagement.

• Ensure labour law compliance and maintain up-to-date HR records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in HR management (travel, tourism, or hospitality advantageous).

• Strong working knowledge of South African labour legislation.

• Proficiency in Sage Payroll Professional is essential.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
