A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accountant with strong financial reporting skills and a solid grasp of accounting principles to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full accounting function and supporting financial operations within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full accounting functions, including reconciliations and reporting.

• Support financial decision-making through accurate data and insights.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Assist in audits, budgeting, and statutory reporting processes.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analyses.

• Oversee cash flow, asset management, and general ledger integrity.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure timely financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Completed SAICA articles, demonstrating a strong technical foundation in accounting practices.

• Preference will be given to candidates who are registered Chartered Accountants (CA(SA)), reflecting advanced professional standing and expertise.

• Professional Accountants (AGA(SA)) are also encouraged to apply, provided they have a proven track record of managing end-to-end accounting processes.

• Candidates who have recently completed their articles and are ready to take the next step in their career will also be considered.

• Strong understanding of IFRS, tax compliance, and financial controls.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
