Job Title: Accountant – Stellenbosch

About the Company

Our client, a dynamic and growing investment holding company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team based in Stellenbosch. Key Responsibilities

• Act as the link between procurement/operations and treasury teams

• Manage and update daily cash flow, communicating changes to the treasury department

• Review and release daily payments in line with company controls

• Prepare and present monthly management reports to EXCO

• Compile and submit VAT calculations and returns to SARS

• Manage the debtors’ function: invoicing, statements, and payment follow-ups

• Reconcile creditors and sub-contractors accounts

• Perform credit card reconciliations for on-site teams

• Prepare journals (salary, interest, on-charges, etc.)

• Demonstrate understanding of trust tax and distributions

• Draft Annual Financial Statements (AFS) post-year-end

• Conduct cash flow forecasting for projects and overheads
