We have an amazing opportunity for a Financial Controller with a Property organization based in Constantia Nek, Cape Town!

The main purpose of this role is:

To oversee bookkeeping and financial control functions within the property portfolio, ensuring accurate financial processing, VAT compliance, and credit control while supporting the Accountant in the Property space.

We require a candidate with:

•           Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

•           At least 2 years’ experience in the property industry (non-negotiable)

•           Experience with Xero

•           Advanced Excel skills

•           Must reside near or close to Constantia Nek (not open to candidates only willing to travel)

•           Strong independent individual who is ambitious and driven to learn and grow into more challenging positions

•           Experience managing a property portfolio

•           Excellent processing skills with strong attention to detail

•           Sound knowledge of bookkeeping principles

•           Strong calculation skills (VAT checks)

•           Ability to prepare books to trial balance

•           Credit control experience
