PRODUCTION MANAGER: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trailer production management (within budget & deadlines)
- Planning, coordinating & controlling all steps in production process
- Managing inventory levels
- Collaborating with workshop teams to ensure efficient production
- Reviewing the productivity of manufacturing equipment
DESIGN DRAUGHTSMAN: ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draughting and design of 2D & 3D models
- Construction drawings
- Nesting for CNC cutting & bending
- Material ordering
- Manufacturing component supply to the workshop
- Manufacturing workshop supervision
Required Skills
- Management: 5 to 6 years
- Production & Manufacturing: 5 to 6 years
- Agricultural Trailers: 5 to 6 years
Candidate Requirements
PRODUCTION MANAGER: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Matric
- Proven experience with trailers & truck bodies
- Certificate in boiler-making, welding or fitting & turning (advantageous)
SKILLS
- Management of production teams & staff
- Quality control & problem solving
- Familiar with workshop machines (plasma/laser cutting, press brakes, welding, etc.)
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
- Hardworking, ability to work under pressure & detail-orientated
DESIGN DRAUGHTSMAN: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Matric
- National Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Draughting (or similar)
- Trailer draughting & design experience (advantageous)
SKILLS
- Autocad 2D & Inventor 3D
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
- Hardworking, ability to work under pressure & detail-orientated
- Problem solving
