About the Company:
Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing Property Group with a diverse portfolio spanning retail, office, industrial, and student accommodation properties.
They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join their team at their offices in Rosebank.
Job Purpose:
The Property Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management and administration of a property portfolio. This includes maintaining tenant relationships, overseeing lease administration, managing debtors, and coordinating with service providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
You will act as a crucial link between property owners, tenants, and internal departments — contributing to tenant retention and minimizing vacancies through strong relationship management and proactive communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer lease agreements, renewals, cessions, and terminations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant and property records.
- Prepare and generate monthly lease management and arrears reports.
- Monitor debtors, follow up on outstanding accounts, and assist in minimizing bad debt.
- Support financial reporting processes — including commission calculations, turnover reports, and expense reconciliations.
- Prepare and verify lease documentation, commission claims, and other related correspondence.
- Coordinate communication between tenants, landlords, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, financial, and data protection requirements (FICA, POPIA, etc.).
- Assist with general administrative duties to support the Property Management team.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Accountancy as a subject.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Property Administration role within a commercial property environment.
- Strong debtors management experience (non-negotiable).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and exposure to property management systems such as SAP or MDA.
- Sound understanding of property management processes and financial principles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must reside in or around the Rosebank area.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
