We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Site Agent to join our team in Bethlehem, Free State. The successful candidate will oversee and manage construction activities on site, ensuring projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management: Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Project Planning: Develop detailed construction programmes of work using MS Projects or equivalent software. Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion of the project.
• Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers. Resolve any issues that arise on site to maintain project efficiency.
• Quality Control: Ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and that materials used are compliant with project specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, daily logs, and any incidents or deviations from the plan.

Requirements:

• AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY
• B-Tech/National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building/Construction Management
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Agent on road projects.
• Driver's License
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Desirable Attributes:

• Microsoft Projects experience
• Experience in road projects
• Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs and schedules.
• Commitment to high standards of safety and quality.
