We We are a Centurion based renewable energy company are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our organization, the Solar Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of solar systems. With a focus on providing high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, this role requires a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and a passion for renewable energy.

Required Skills

  • Excellent Electrical And Mechanical Skills: 2 to 3 years
  • Proven Experience As A Solar Installation Technician: 2 to 3 years
  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings, Schematics And Wiring Diagrams: 2 to 3 years
  • Ability To Work Safely At Heights And In Confined Spaces: 2 to 3 years
  • Valid Driver's License And Ability To Travel To Job Sites: 2 to 3 years
  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills: 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements

  • Install, maintain and repair residential and commercial solar systems
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best installation method
  • Ensure that all installations meet industry standards and sans regulations
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems and perform necessary repairs
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support to ensure the optimal performance of solar systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide technical support and training to customers as needed
