A leading sports apparel manufacturing company in Randburg, Gauteng is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily production activities, manage a team of seamstresses, and ensure efficient operation of production line machines. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented leader to drive productivity and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production floor activities to meet targets and deadlines.
• Manage and motivate a team of seamstresses, ensuring high-quality garment output.
• Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of production line machines.
• Monitor workflow and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and compliance standards.
• Report production metrics and suggest process improvements to management.

Requirements

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Floor Manager or Production Supervisor in apparel manufacturing.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a production team.
• Knowledge of garment production processes and machine operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
