Junior Quantity Surveyor opportunity - if you're passionate about cost control, project management, and construction finance, we want to hear from you!

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with relevant Degree
• Practical work post degree completed
• Own vehicle and valid license 
• Experience with a Consulting company

Licenses / Memberships:

• SACQSP (South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession)
• ASAQS (The Association of South African Quantity Surveyors)

Duties:

• Prepare preliminary cost estimates for construction projects
• Review designs and outline specifications to manage and control costs
• Create detailed cost estimates and draft bills of quantities.
• Develop project budgets for construction costs
• Prepare tender documents, including final bills of quantities
• Assist with tender evaluations, pricing negotiations, and contract documentation
• Handle monthly payment valuations and resolve contractor financial claims
• Set up and maintain financial control systems, including monthly reports and cash flows
• Prepare pricing schedules and calculate consulting team fees for new project bids
