We are partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm that is actively seeking a proactive and driven professional to join their dynamic Water team based in Cape Town. This is a full-time, site-based contract opportunity to contribute to a major municipal infrastructure project for the City of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Providing dedicated Site Supervision and Construction Monitoring services on a major construction site, working under the guidance of a senior engineer.

·       Conducting thorough inspections of construction works to verify contractor compliance with project drawings and specifications.

·       Assisting with quantity verification and the accurate preparation of monthly contractor payment certificates.

·       Supporting comprehensive contract administration tasks.

·       Participating in technical workshops and assisting with on-site design solutions as needed.

·       Recording and updating as-built information on construction drawings.

Minimum Requirements:

·        BSc / BEng / BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.

·        Proven experience with construction monitoring and site supervision on construction projects.

·        A strong understanding of construction contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities, Specifications, and Drawings.

·        Working knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

·        Prior exposure to the design of municipal water and sewer services.
