Job Title: Hydraulic Engineering Manager

Location: Spartan, Johannesburg

A leading Hydraulics company is looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineering Manager with strong experience in Hydraulics and proficiency in computer-aided design software to join their team in Spartan, Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Hydraulic Engineering Manager to lead and manage engineering projects by overseeing their development and execution, designing hydraulic components, and providing technical advice to both customers and colleagues. If you have an in-depth understanding of hydraulic safety regulations and standards and 3 years of managerial experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and execution of engineering projects.
• Design Hydraulic components.
• Provide technical advice to both customers and colleagues within the company.
• Conduct site visits for technical advice.
• Liaise with various stakeholders.
• Provide internal training to fellow colleagues on products and technical matters.
• Check and approve manufacturing drawings.
• Assist in the testing of hydraulic components.
• Generate quotes for products and systems to be manufactured.
• Lead and manage projects.
• Manage the engineering department.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Computer Literate.
• Experience in Hydraulics - Background and in-depth knowledge.
• Understanding of hydraulic safety regulations and standards.
• Good communication.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design software.
• 3-years Managerial experience preferred.
