A top-tier FMCG manufacturing facility in Durbanville, Western Cape is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their engineering team and ensure the seamless operation of all plant equipment and utilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional with a GCC who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and utilities systems within the facility

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of artisans and technicians to drive uptime and productivity

• Implement preventative maintenance schedules and reduce equipment downtime

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and uphold SHEQ standards

• Manage engineering budgets, spares, and contractor services

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and production support

Minimum Requirements

• GCC Factories (essential)

• Recognised Trade Certificate (Millwright or Electrician preferred)

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Maintenance Management role

• Strong background in high-volume FMCG or manufacturing environments

• Solid leadership, problem-solving, and planning capabilities
