    Key Deliverables

     

    • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company
    • Manage, oversee and ensure the smooth running of all Mnandi Braai operations
    • Manage the team and ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
    • Oversee all departments and ensure efficiency by all designated personnel, including the central kitchen
    • Provide leadership to the various departments and ensure that there is synergy across all departments
    • Ensure that all store managers and supervisors maintain the proper standards related to cleanliness and customer service
    • Ensure and enforce the adherence of the menu and all recipes as designed by the Head Chef
    • Have operational oversight on all departments within the business
    • Ensure accurate reporting by all departments
    • Develop effective reporting templates and mechanism for all departments
    • Ensure the successful growth and profitability of the business
    • Design strategy and set goals for the growth of the company
    • Control budgets and optimize expenses
    • Ensure that strategic goals are met by setting operational policies
    • Ensure employees are always motivated and productive
    • Through the HR office, establish standards for the evaluation and reviewing of individual employee performances
    • Ensure that the team undergoes the necessary training where required
    • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance of the business
    • Prepare regular reports for executive management / EXCO
    • Ensure that employees follow health and safety regulations
    • Ensure adherence to all food safety protocols as advised by the Food Technologist
    • Be on the lookout for new growth opportunities and advise EXCO accordingly
    • Manage the development, revision and implementation of operational policies and procedures
    • Ensure that all sourced food supplies are in line with the required food standards and regulations
    • Advice management on industry threats and opportunities
    • Maintain proper records related to your job
    • Ensure the achievement of store roll-out targets
    • Ensure smooth interaction between all spheres of the business, this includes but not limited to head office, stores, central kitchen, design studios, construction etc
    • Oversee the development and success of new products
    • Work with marketing in achieving brand objectives
    • Develop and continuously strengthen a site scouting team and operation
