Role Overview

The Draughtsman is responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings to support production, engineering, and sales teams. The role includes ensuring design compliance, maintaining drawing records, and collaborating with multiple departments to resolve technical issues. This position plays a key part in delivering high-quality fabrication and ensuring alignment between production output and approved engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for pump orders, tenders, and customer quotations.

• Finalise general and sectional arrangement drawings following job file approval.

• Assist with the creation of detailed, scale-accurate drawings as required.

• Conduct dimensional and compliance checks on fabricated base plates.

• Maintain both digital and manual records of drawings, ensuring proper revision control and file management.

• Implement and communicate approved design changes to relevant departments.

• Provide technical support and resolve drawing-related issues across departments.

• Manage drawing files using a structured and consistent filing system.
